The Local Organizing Committee wishes to advise the public that tickets for Sunday’s all important FIFA Under 17 Women’s World Cup  between hosts Trinidad and Tobago and Korea DPR  will be on sale from 9am on Saturday and Sunday at the Ato Boldon Stadium.

WARRIORS GO DOWN 3-0 TO PANAMA Print


Trinidad and Tobago’s senior men’s team suffered another defeat at likely Concacaf World Cup opponents, this time going down 3-0 to Panama at the Rommel Fernandez Stadium on Tuesday night.

Russell Latapy’s men took a while to settle down and were punished in the 13th minute when Edwin Aguilar turned two defenders before clinically hitting past goalkeeper Jan Michael Williams to put the home team 1-0 ahead to the delight of a noisy home crowd of around 12,000.

Trinidad and Tobago’s National Under 17 Women’s team are 90 minutes away from creating history once again as they require just one more win to advance to the quarter final of a FIFA World Cup, something that no other Caribbean national team has accomplished to date. And believe it or not, after another passionate and gritty display from the Soca Princesses on Wednesday night in their 2-1 loss to Nigeria, there is sufficient reason to believe that they can conquer the North Koreans and seal the second round spot at tge Ato Boldon Stadium from 6pm on Sunday.
