Newly reappointed National Men's Senior Team head coach Russell Latapy completed his first two days of training with invited local players at the Hasely Crawford Stadium as the "Soca Warriors" get ready for upcoming friendly internationals and Digicel Caribbean Championship qualifiers later this year. Latapy called a squad of 29 players but those attached to Joe Public were excused on request due to their CFU Club Championship fixtures coming up.
Latapy indicated that some of the faces invited to training are new to the set up and he was using the initial sessions to evaluate those at his disposal and subsequently he will reveal those names once they remain in his squad. Among those in the mix included Radanfah Abu Bakr and Kendall Jagdeosingh who were present only for the first couple sessions before departing the country. Sessions will continue next week at the Hasely Crawford Stadium.
