SANCHO RELIEVED WITH NEW DEAL Print
Defender Brent Sancho, club less for almost a year now, expressed relief on signing a one month deal with English Championship Division side Millwall this week.

Sancho, out of contract with Gillingham , had run into problems securing a deal before eventually falling into favour with the Millwall management.

He explained that once he impresses in the upcoming month, he could be offered a long-term deal.

“It was really a frustrating time not being able to play or secure a deal with the club. Not making any excuses but it had to do with the Gillingham manager just not wanting to give me the chance to play or didn’t cooperate favourably during the time I was looking for another deal. But that’s long gone now and my focus is trying to get into the first team at Millwall and become a regular playing member of the club,” Sancho tolf TTFF Media

Millwall are one point off the relegation zone and Sancho could make his first start on Saturday against Luton Town . He has played two Reserve games so far including one against Brighton . (Dec 7, 2007)
