He's been privileged to appear in two youth World Cups for Trinidad and Tobago and now this 19-year-old has his sights set on playing in a Senior World Cup for his country. Daneil Cyrus, a forward turned defender, tells us about his senior international debut for T&T versus Chile earlier this month,  why he has an ambition to wear the number 19 shirt and he also voices the need for more for football in Tobago.

YOUNG JAMERSON SAYS DAD KERRY INSPIRED HIM



Ma Pau midfielder Devon Jamerson made his senior international debut for Trinidad and Tobago,coming on in the second half of  the recent 2-0 loss to Chile in Iquique. And now he’s hoping to cement a regular spot in Russell Latapy’s team.

At age 21, Jamerson is also hoping to emulate the kind of career his father, ex-Strike Squad player Kerry Jamerson had which saw him ending  his career as a player with the Defence Force before going on to coach at the same club.

FIFA/TTFF MANAGEMENT COURSE GETS GOING AT CASCADIA


The Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation in collaboration with the FIFA Development Office commenced its Club Management Course at the Cascadia Hotel in Trinidad this morning.

TTFF officials are hoping that the three day course will assist local and regional football club managers in not only transforming their respective management structures but also assist managers in understanding and realizing their overall goals and objectives.

T&T DRAW CHILE AND E.GUINEA FOR JUNIOR OLYMPIC GAMES


Trinidad and Tobago’s Women’s Under 15 team will face Chile and Equatorial Guinea in the Junior Olympic Games in Singapore from August 12-15.

This was determined at the draw for the event which took place on Tuesday at the Singapore PSA Building Auditorium and was attended by Under 15 Women’s team coach Marlon Charles.
