USA START WITH A BANG VS T&T

The USA outshot Trinidad & Tobago 39-0 and finished with a 16-0 edge in corner kicks but needed 32 minutes to score its first goal en route to an 8-0 win in their opening game at the 2013 Concacaf U-17 Women's Championship in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Seven different players scored for the USA.

The Soca Princesses came into the game as Caribbean champions, but they were no match for the USA, which extended its scoring margin at the last three U-17 regional tournaments to 64-0.

T&T U-17 WOMEN FACE OFF WITH US IN CONCACAF OPENER

Trinidad and Tobago’s Women Under 17 team will  face an uphill task in their opening CONCACAF final round qualifying encounter against United States at the Montego Bay Sports Complex from 6pm on Thursday.

The team, under head coach Marlon Charles, head into the tournament as Caribbean champions after defeating Haiti in the Caribbean Football Union final in Port-au-Prince earlier this month.
