HART ANNOUNCES FINAL T&T GOLD CUP SQUAD

Trinidad and Tobago Senior Men’s Team head coach Stephen Hart has finalized a 23-man squad for the upcoming 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup.

Hart disclosed his selection to the players who had been engaged in a training camp for the past few days on Thursday evening.

He said he was satisfied that the squad was a balanced one.

HISLOP BACKS BEENHAKKER'S RETURN

Former National captain and goalkeeper Shaka Hislop is all in support of the return of Dutchman Leo Beenhakker to the Trinidad and Tobago Football Association set up.

Beenhakker has been appointed Director of Local Football for a 6-month period in the first instance and Hislop, now an ESPN analyst, covering an assessing some the world’s best managers, teams and players, said he welcomes Beenhakker back to Trinidad and Tobago with opened arms.

HART UNVEILED AS NEW HEAD COACH

Newly appointed Trinidad and Tobago Senior Team head coach Stephen Hart was unveiled to the media at a Press Conference hosted by the Trinidad and Tobago Football Association at the Hasely Crawford Stadium VIP Lounge on Monday

Hart, a former T&T midfielder and Canadian national team technical director and coach, said he is elated to return to the country of his birth, but told supporters not to expect miracles.

CONFIRMED - BEENHAKKER BACK ON BOARD/HART APPOINTED SENIOR TEAM HEAD COACH

The Trinidad and Tobago Football Association (TTFA) has agreed to terms with former Real Madrid, Holland, and T&T National Team coach, Leo Beenhakker, who successfully guided the Soca Warriors through World Cup qualification and the final round of the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany and former Canada National Team coach and technical director, Stephen Hart, who guided Canada to the semi final round of the 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup, to join its ranks in time for the CONCACAF Gold Cup

Beenhakker will serve as the Director of Football and Hart will assume the role of Head Coach of the Senior National Men's Team.
